Your initial holistic acupuncture appointment will consist of a consultation, intake, and tongue and pulse diagnosis to establish a treatment plan for you. Following the consultation will be an acupuncture treatment, which may include moxabustion, cupping, gua sha, and/or tui na as needed, along with nutritional consultation.

Pediatric Acupuncture
Pediatric acupuncture is very gentle and painless. It does not involve needles as in adult acupuncture treatments. The Teishin non-insertive needle is used as an alternative needle-insertion to stimulate energy and restore balance. Press balls and/or magnets might be put on the body and left on for the patient to return home with in order to prolong the treatment. The acupuncture protocol for children usually starts off very frequent, such as two to three times a week and will usually last only about ten to twenty minutes. To encourage the frequent visits for children, we charge treatment fees for children at a lower cost.
